This week, our CCFF Officers had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Flood and Coast Conference in Liverpool. The officers were able to hear from and meet volunteers from Flood Groups across the country, see emerging technologies in the sector as well as hear from many inspiring projects and speakers. The officers are excited to bring this knowledge back to Cornwall and continue to work with our communities to help Cornwall be more resilient.
The Forum are also incredibly proud of Community Engagement Officer, Amy Richardson, who received the Highly Commended Early Careers Professional Award. Amy has spent almost 3 years working with communities as part of CCFF and we are beyond proud to see her succeed on a National stage. Amy has shown incredible dedication, hard work and commitment to supporting communities and this award truly reflects an incredible beginning to her career. Congratulations Amy!
