On Saturday, our Community Engagement Officers headed over to Kingsand to run a workshop on Community Emergency Planning and Flood Resilience. It was great to talk to members of the Kingsand, Cawsand, Millbrook and Torpoint communities about preparedness and their experiences of flooding.
Thanks to the Environment Agency, we ran a severe weather scenario exercise and the group came up with a lot of great ideas about how they can be prepared for emergencies, highlighting different ways they could communicate with each other. CCFF look forward to continuing to work with these communities on their Flood Plans and Groups.
