Wadebridge School Workshop: April 2026
Yesterday, CCFF Trustee, Jenny and Community Engagement Officer, Emma had the wonderful opportunity to run a workshop for Year 7 and Year 10 students at Wadebridge School.
This was a great chance for them to look more in depth at the local flood risk and have a go at some of our practical Flood Warden scenario training! The students did a brilliant job and we hope to see them become Flood Wardens in years to come! A big thank you to the staff and students for welcoming us and making this possible.🌊
Wadebridge: May 2025
CCFF had a lovely time visiting Wadebridge this weekend at the Troubled Waters event, where they screened Cornwall Climate Care’s film ‘Down the drain’. We had some great conversations with local people about flood preparedness and how CCFF can offer support. A big thanks to the organisers and to our wonderful trustees for helping us out on the day.

Werrington: March 2025
CCFF visited Werrington Parish Council, to give a short presentation about the Forum, the work we do and how we can support their community by writing an Emergency Flood Plan, training volunteer Flood Wardens and running a live exercise. We also looked at personal preparedness and Property Flood Resilience for those particularly at risk.
